Kim is instrumental in the day-to-day operations of Dragonfly. Using her 30+ years of experience in the conference, meeting and incentive travel industries, she keeps our internal and client projects in check. As the General Manager, Kim is responsible for the company operations, accounting practices, client budget management and ensuring our team members receive the latest educational opportunities available. 

Kim came to Dragonfly from Habitat for Humanity Durham and previous to that, another industry 3rd party company, where she was the Finance and Administration Manager in both places. Her fiscal reporting and ability to keep everyone in line provides Dragonfly with a competitive edge in project efficiency.

Some other interesting facts about Kim include:

  • She once played the violin but quickly realized she was terrible! So she took up singing and has spent many years as lead singer in a band.

  • As a young girl, she was an avid gymnast.

  • Kim is 9th generation Canadian originating in England settling in the Ottawa Valley on the Quebec side. The homestead is still owned by her family.

  • She loves road trips – they are her favourite type of vacation.

  • She has a huge collection of dolphin paraphernalia – she loves dolphins!
