We promise you … this winter will not last forever! Before you know it, we’ll be enjoying the warmth of the summer sun. May is just around the corner which marks the month of Melanoma Awareness. Every May, our friends at the David Cornfield Melanoma Fund host a fundraising event to mark an annual occasion. This year’s event will be a special one. It’s the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the David Cornfield Melanoma Fund, and as our charity of choice this year, we are helping them with a special celebration: Thursday Night Lights, a party you don’t want to miss, held on May 11th at 2nd Floor Events.
The DCMF was formed in 2007 to help save lives from melanoma skin cancer. They are extremely proud of their awareness, prevention and research efforts including their awareness videos, the DCMF Award at the University of Toronto and the Sun Smart Kids program. For more information on the charity, please go to www.dcmf.ca.
Thursday Night Lights will celebrate DCMF’s accomplishments and honour the companies and people who have supported them over the past 10 years. A sell out event in the past with over 300 guests, we will rock the night away at 2nd Floor Events in the trendy King West district, with live music from Parkside Drive, delicious food and prizes to raise money for melanoma prevention and research.
Ticket sales to attend the celebration can be purchased at:
This year, we are also asking our industry partners to support the cause alongside Dragonfly. We hope to help them set a new benchmark – not just for a fun night out, but for contribution kindness. We are hoping that you will join the party this year to help celebrate the 10th anniversary!
Supporting the event is simple. We are asking our partners and friends to donate a product, service or financial contribution to the evening.
