New Roots Dinner Series

Dragonfly is pleased to sponsor this local initiative again this year.

New Roots Dinner Series will be simultaneously seating 100 people across four unique venues in Cabbagetown, one of Toronto’s oldest neighbourhoods. Net profits from New Roots Dinner Series goes directly to Green Thumbs Growing Kids. Environmental programming focused on teaching children about growing healthy whole foods in school gardens and community parks.

Green Thumb programs take place in the east downtown Toronto neighbourhood of St. James, Cabbagetown and Regent Park. The gardens are about kids and their grownups, plants and their people.

Dragonfly is proud to be a continuing sponsor of the New Roots Dinner Series taking place tonight (August 20), and in particular  Plant Sponsor. The menu creation is by award winning Executive Chef Karen O’Connor and Executive Pastry Chef Bonnie Kravitz, president of the ICA Culinary Council, Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events.

The participating venues hosting the four dinners are Riverdale Farms, Allan Gardens, Toronto Dance Theatre and the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre.
