4:3 vs 16:9 – What’s the difference?

Screen image dragonflyScreen ratios have been 4:3 for a long time, dating back to when slide and overhead projectors were used for meetings!  With the ever changing technology, 16:9 is now recommended when putting together a PowerPoint template or giving direction to speakers on what you require.  Reason being, the higher the ratio, the higher the pixels and the better the resolution!  On a screen of the same size, you will get 25% more viewing area then you would with a 4:3 ratio screen!  The rate that technology is evolving is exciting and at times hard to keep up with, but it can be as easy as changing the ratio when you first start to develop your PowerPoint Presentation!
